THE CONSULTANCY
Continental Consulting is a United Kingdom based Islamic Development Finance Agency. The consultancy is focused on the Islamic Financing of the sustainable socio-economic development of memeber states of the Organization for the Islamic Conference (OIC) in the emerging African continent, as a Wakeel, under Wakalah Agreements with Development Finance Institutions (DFI), Sovereign Wealth Funds (SWF), Islamic Financial Institutions (IFI) and Conventional Institutional Investors (CII) as participating Mulwakeel.
The strategic thesis of the consultancy is that the tenets and principles of Shariah-compliant Islamic Finance can accelerate the ethical and sustainable private sector based socio-economic growth, poverty alleviation and global integration of African member states of the OIC.
The consultancy is positioned to manage the sustainable co-participation of Sovereign Wealth Funds (SWF), Development Finance Institutions (DFI), Islamic Financial Institutions (IFI) and Conventional Institutional Investors (CII) in the ethical and equitable co-financing of the socio-economic development and global integration of African member states of the OIC through the tenets and principles of Islamic Finance by expediting the Shariah-compliant delivery of economic development finance through proprietary Shariah-compliant Islamic Finance instruments and structures.
THE PRACTICE
Islamic Venture Capital
The consultancy manages the procurement of Shariah-compliant Islamic Venture Capital for SMEs and Large Corporations in African member states of the OIC.
Islamic Project Finance
The consultancy manages the procurement of Shariah-compliant Islamic Project Finance for medium to long term Infrastructure Projects in African memeber states of the OIC.
Islamic Trade Finance
The consultancy manages the procurement of Shariah-compliant Trade Finance for the import and export trade transactions of the African member states of the OIC.
THE PRINCIPALS
For the transparent and cost effective delivery of the above consultancy practice, the consultancy enters into Islamic Wakalah Agreements, as a Wakeel, with the following institutional Principals, as the Mulwakeel, designated as the Project Sponsorship Principals (PSP):
